With more than 250,000 out-of-print, collectible, and simply used copies, we are the largest bookstore anywhere in the world where you can come and rekindle memories as you browse well over a mile of shelves of old children's books.

The Prince and the Pauper endeavors to provide desirable copies of children’s books at a reasonable cost. Our books are offered in a wide range of prices, typically everywhere from $1 to $1000, though on occasion we will have books outside of this range.

We also carry a good selection of new children's books. Many of these are reprints of classic titles and others are ones which we believe will be classics tomorrow.
