Scarce series. 7" by 14" shape book stapled cardboard Covers. At one point some of the pages were reinforced with clear tape; some creases and closed tears; a few little spots in the crease of the "S" page. Faint gift inscription on back (in pencil which can be easily and completely erased, but kept to this point as it adds to its charm. Overall in remarkable condition considering the age of the book and of the child it was intended for-a very well cared for copy! very scarce, wonderful children's ABC book with many illustrations in brilliant color, each letter is accompanied by an illustration and a rhyme from A's the Atlantic Express, speeding to the coast, Bringing thither many friends to their eager host to Z stands for zeal which Father Tuck is eager to impart, unto his many little friends, each kind and gentle heart, cover features a locomotive in 4 charming brilliant, full color illustrations with the rest in sepia tones.
